I use these between trusses in a coat closet to hide A/V gear. They are fantastic.

So I test these Drawer Slides to see if they really can carry 400-lbs weight. having read some feedback from some customers I decided to test out their weight capacity. I needed to build this 50″ slide out of the Go-kart from the trailer anyway so it really was not much extra work to add some weights and test the capacity. I was very surprised with the results. They could carry more than that However I ran into a problem which also solved the issue on why other people had problems, and it turns out its not the drawer slides with the issue its what you screw the Drawer slides into. So I used wood 2×4’s to be exact but at 400lbs I noticed the wood was deforming and causing issues with opening and closing the drawer slides. So I would recommend if you are going to need 400lbs of weight then you are better off screwing them into something harder that doesn’t deform as easy as a 2×4. Metal or aluminum would be better. Or I noticed that Firgelli also sell an even heavier duty but more expensive Drawer slides that can carry 500lbs weight, so I would recommend those and not push them to their limits.

I bought a set to make a retractable rain cover over a hot tub. I modeled it on benches in the garage. The slides were slightly out of alignment and jammed. I applied too much force and broke one of them. The ball bearings came out. I ordered a second pair. This time I handled them very carefully, taking precautions to be sure the alignment was as good as I could make it. They work fine now. I’m happy with them.

I destroyed a product that was not heavy duty

I used these to build a tool drawer in m truck bed. It works great. Be advise that the inside rail will not remove from the outside rail. Plan ahead to assemble the drawer to the cabinet body. Ive carried approximately 250 lbs on bumpy roads without problem.

Just what I wanted. Very heavy duty, ball bearings. Careful, it might be more than you want. I needed something that would carry over 200 lbs when fully extended to 52 inches. These fit that requirement.
The price seems a lot, but this is the real deal.
