VADANIA VK1245 Soft Close Drawer Slides
The three part extension allows for a higher load capacity and smooth movement. Featuring metal ball bearings for a quiet and comfortable closure and a dark discrete color that blends into most drawers. It will close soft and automatically.

Drawer slides are always temperamental so no difference there. They seem to be high quality and heavy duty at a good price. So far so good

Slides are great. Fit perfectly, slightly snug. However, the screws that were provided are extremely cheap. Stripped the first three I used. Ended up using the ones from the broken slide.

Purchased 3 sets of the 14′ set to replace the old cheap nylon rollers that came with a kids chest of drawers. The originals were not rated for the heavier drawers and have worn badly. My husband says the installation is relatively easy, but measure and check before drilling. Use the adjustable screw slots provided so that the screws can be used to adjust both the height and/or alignment of drawer face. This also makes it easier if the joints on the drawer frame or drawer themselves are not perfectly square. They also help if you do not manage to mount the sliders perfectly level. Very satisfied with the results – brilliant soft close which is very much safer for children’s hands and for the first time since we purchased the chest of drawers, they slide very evenly and smoothly. The soft close action works brilliantly. Have purchased several additional 16″ sets to replace the old roller bearings on other furniture we have. You pay more for the roller bearing sliders but they are worth the extra money – significantly smoother and safer drawer operation.

The 16 inch draw slider was a replacement for a 17inch slider (I wasn’t able to find 17inch slider on line). The drawer is relatively large and the contents are heavy. The only complaint I have is that no instructions were given for installation. Since the new slider was a 16 inch to replace a 17 inch slider and the manufactures were different, it created a problem. Plus the front of the drawer was flush design going into it’s cabinet; there was little or no wiggle room to play with. This meant t a lot of measurements were made plus a slight adjustment after initial installation. After final adjustment the slide is working perfectly and I very happy with it’s performance.

Frankly, I bought them because they were inexpensive and they proved to be just that.
I would use them again in projects that do not come under the scrutiny of a discerning critic.
