one broke before I was was able to install it. I like the idea of having the push to open instead of having a seperate catch.

I absolutely love them. easy to install. Push to open. Most sturdy rails i’ve used so far. Ordered a second set for my pullout shelves.

Outside of the slightly blind way of installing these slides, they work great. The push/release mechanism is just plastic though, so Im not entirely sure exactly how they will last. There is a hidden mechanism in case you dont know – if you flip over the slide, and extend the slides all the way out, youll see a tiny plastic release tab that, when you pull/push it to one side, will allow you to fully disengage the slide to allow for an easier installation. It took a little trial and error to get it to work, but otherwise the install was a pretty easy go.

These were perfect for what I needed.

Just what I needed for the nightstands I’m making. They seem to be good quality, smooth slides

Nice action on the click to open and very smooth operation. I needed a shorter slide for one drawer. The rest of the slides I got from Lee Valley. But this one feels nicer to open and close. We’ll see how it hold-up in the long run, but so far, I have no worries.

The push-to-open drawer slide appears to be sturdy and well made. Its metal design is strong and the extensions open easily. They are a bit messy during installation due to the oiled ball bearings but clean up was easy with a damp cloth. I was drawn to this item for the push-to-open feature and its higher than average weight bearing capability. The stop is plastic so it will be interesting to see how it holds up to daily use. So far, Ive been pleased and would recommend this drawer slide.

These are heavyweight and hold a lot of weight. My drawers aren’t fully loaded with 100 lbs, but I definitely believe that they hold that much per drawer.
A few things I’ll mention when installing that you’ll need to consider:
1. The length. My drawers are slightly longer than 22 inches and so it’s important to make sure you’re placing them in a location that allows them to fully extend the drawer.
2. The thickness is .5″ and so you need to make sure that the opening for the drawer fits that width. In my case, my drawers are old and there was only one slider underneath each. The drawer faces are wider than the drawers, which ended up being less of an issue if they were exactly the same width. I had to install small peices of wood on the inside of the cabinet to allow for connection of the rails.
If you install these correctly, they are absolutely worth it.
