Vertically Adjusting Drawer Slides
Remove the Drawer
Move the drawer in and out of the cabinet. Check the spacing between the drawer and the cabinet at the top and bottom. If the drawer rubs on the cabinet face frame at the top, remove the drawer from the cabinet.
Loosen or Remove the Screws
Loosen the screw in the oval-shaped hole at the front on both sides of the drawer guides. Use a Phillips-tip screwdriver. The drawer guides are on both sides of the drawer at the bottom. The screw in the oval-shaped hole is just behind the drawer front. Loosen it slightly but don’t remove it. Remove the remaining screws in the guides, but leave the one at the back intact.
Lower the Drawer
Tap the guides up if the drawer rubs at the top. This will bring the drawer down. The guide will move inside the oval-shaped hole. Move both sides equally. Tighten the screw in the oval-shaped hole slightly.
Re-Insert the Drawer
Insert the drawer back into the cabinet. Slide it in and out of the cabinet. Check to see if the drawer rubs at the top. Remove the drawer and tap the guide up or down as needed until the drawer glides smoothly. Tighten the screw in the oval-shaped hole, insert the original screws that you removed from both sides and tighten them.
Horizontally Adjusting Drawer Slides
1. Please make sure that there is a 13mm gap between the drawer and both sides of the cabinet;
2. Fully stretch the three-section slide rail, press it to the left to separate the inner rail;
3. Fix the outer rail and the middle rail on both sides of the drawer;
4. Fix the inner rails on both sides of the cabinet;
5. Hold up the drawer and align the middle rail with the inner rail.
Tips
Move the drawer guide in small increments of about 1/8-inch. It usually doesn’t take much adjustment to get them working smooth.
If your drawers have uneven gaps between them on the front, don’t adjust the guides. This problem is caused by misaligned drawer fronts. Remove the drawer fronts and reposition them to fix this type of gap.
